Kissing scene in Thottupaar deleted, Thottu Paar Movie

The Censor Board deleted the kissing scene in the film Thottu Par. Janaki Shivakumar has produced the film titled Thottu Par under the banner Tholpavai Theatres. Vidarth and Lakshana are in the lead roles. Srikanth Deva has composed the music. The film is to be released on 15th of this month.
K V Nandu who directed this film said,” Heroine plays prank with the hero. The hero takes it seriously and later on when he comes to know that it is a prank, kisses the heroine in order to show his emotions. When we explained this sequence to Lakshana, she refused. Later on she realized that this scene important for the film agreed to act in this scene.
The same kissing scene will appear twice in the film. The Censor Board members requested us to delete this sequence. Accordingly we have deleted this scene. Apart from this we have also deleted one bar scene also. But the story of the film will not affect because we have deleted these scenes.
The story of this film is about a youngster who comes from a village to the city because of a problem. He joins in bar. He encounters problems because of the people who come there. How he overcomes these problems is the rest of the story. Ramana who used to do the lead roles is donning the villain role in this film.”

What happened to Vikram Sasikumar friendship?
Actor Vikram and actor-director-producer Sasikumar had been close from the days of "Pithaamagan" in which sasikumar was the assistant director of director Bala.The relationship grew further and they became thick friends when "Subramaniapuram" released. It is reported that even before the release of the film Vikram Vikram gave an advance to Sasikumar just by watching the first copy of the film.
The movie got a racy start with the new faces occupying the lead roles and was titled "Aagachiranthavan(best man)" and when it was thought that movie would be wrapped up soon came the hindrance in the form of vikram's friend.
It is reliably learned that it was not vikram but his friend was producing the film and when the expenses overstepped the initial budget vikram's friend seemed to have queried sasikumar over the expenses which lead to a rift in the relationship.
This lead to vikram detaching himself from the movie and he conveyed the same to a media person in a recent interview and said that there were no problems between sasikumar and him and also said that as the expenses overshoot the limit sasikumar himself came forward to produce the film alone.

"Endhiran experience and my cameo appearance"
Actor Raahgav, who is a leading Television star, did a cameo appearance in the just released "Endhiran : The Robot". He is very upbeat about his role in the movie and re-lives the experience acting in the movie.Work in Endhiran
Have made a cameo appearance in the film Endhiran where I've shared screen space with two of the icons of Indian Film Industry -- Superstar Rajnikant and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Shot in Chennai and Pune for 18 days for the film. My hairstyle, look, costume and performance in the film have been well appreciated and recognized which has been quite a pleasant surprise for me.
During the shoot director Shankar and superstar Rajnikant encouraged me a lot and praised my work a lot. Infact, in the scene where I play loud music in the house, the superstar applauded and hugged me after the take which will be a very precious memory for me.
Working with stunt choreographer Peter Hein master along with a group of International Stunt Artistes from France and Vietnam in the fight sequence set inside an electric train in Pune was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
My phone hasn't stopped ringing and my facebook is flooded with congratulatory messages since the release of the film which only reinforces the great reach and success of the film.
Previous Films
Previously I worked in films such as Silambattam, Saththam Podathey, Vattaram, Chakravyugam, Jery, Yai! Nee Romba Azhagaa Irukkey.
In Silambattam I portrayed a hot-tempered village rowdy who has an opinion clash with the hero, Simbu. In this film too my performance and look were well received.
I played the role of a loving and caring brother (to Padmapriya) in the film Saththam Podathey directed by Vasanth. This was a very new-age portrayal of a brother who wants his sister to get a divorce from her troubled psychotic husband. After getting a divorce, he wants her to move on with her life and find love again. I still keep receiving mails and calls from fans who tell me they wish they had a loving brother like I was in the film.
Music
I co-composed the song "Oru Kadhal Vandhucho" in the film "Yai! Nee Romba Azhagaa Irukkey", sung by Shankar Mahadevan. Incidentally, this was the first film that I acted in too. Director Vasanth introduced me as an actor and as a music director in the film.
Current Projects
Currently I've acted as hero, done the music and also produced a film called "Nanju Puram". This film stars Monika as the heroine. The village based thriller is now complete and is releasing by year end.
I'm very glad that the popularity I received from dance reality shows such as "Rani 6 Raja Yaaru", "Jodi No 1", "Maanaada Mayilaada" have given me a great platform which has led to my breaks in the film industry.
Popular actress loses INR 2.50 Lacs
Roja, who was once a popular tamil actress and leader of the women's wing of thetelugu desam party, who came to Coimbatore from Chennai, lost 2.50 Lacs Indian rupees from her handbag.This incident happened couple of days ago and is learnt that she was carrying this huge amount for some political purposes.The actress on her way to Otthapalam, Kerala got her flight at 7pm and came to coimbatore by Jet airways flight. After the flight landed in coimbatore airport at 8.30pm actress seemed to have checked her handbag for the money and found that the money was missing.
Roja, who is also the wife of popular director RK Selvamani, was perturbed by this sudden development, lodged a complaint with the airport's security officers they in turn requested the actress to take the matter with jet airways officers who were on duty at the time of the incident.
She then approached manager of the jet airways at the airport and said that she lost 2.50 Lacs Indian rupees on her way and someone swindled the money from her and also requested attempts be made to recover her lost mony.
After this she left for Otthapalam, Kerala in a car. Jet airways manager after receiving the complaint from actress roja duly informed Peelamedu police and they in turn registered a FIR and the inquiry and search is on to find out the culprit.
Actor brothers in advertisement race
Actors Surya and Karthi are the proud sons of veteran actor Sivakumar who is regarded as evergreen margandeyan of tamil cinema and a well known social activist.His involvement along with his eldest actor-son surya to help the poor students is receiving widespread fame and name to the proud father.

The brothers, who have become established stars in Tamil film industry, are now seemingly competing against each other in the world of advertisements and endorsements too!
While Suriya has done quite a good number of commercials, younger sibling Karthi has recently taken up the Airtel assignment after being signed up by india's largest cell-phone service provider as its brand ambassador.
